It was too hard for me (non-native) to teach my son because he thinks he's not good at reading and his reading is painstakingly slow and that frustrates him. Theo is quite an amazing teacher. I do wonder how much time he takes outside his one-on-one teaching time to be always so fully prepared. He's someone who has a keen interest in how a child's mind works in learning, what motivates him, and how can a tutor help the child to overcome his weakness. It seems there's no idle conversation between the tutor and the learner; Theo is constantly analyzing my son's English output and seeking pattern in his mistakes while not forgetting to give positive feedbacks for his small victories.
