I hadn't played the guitar in a very long time and only played classical guitar when I was younger, so now in my 40s and learning to play chords, I was a bit nervous - but Chris is really great at putting you at ease and giving you the confidence that you can do this and giving you the right tools to help you get there. Also, I really like the virtual classes because I can always look back at the videos and pause/rewind to check finger placements/strumming, etc. It truly helps with the learning process!"See more

My 6 year old is starting with drum lessons with Cassi and my 8 year old with guitar taught by Jack. Cassi and Jack are both awesome teachers! So patient and they make the lessons fun! My 8 year old also wants to do drum lessons now too and they both want to sign up for singing and piano in the future too! Can’t wait to get this family rock band jamming!!"See more

Didn't work, only picked up bad habits. Heard about Thumbtack, figured I would give it a shot. There were several instructors to choose from. I choose Jeff because of his introduction "Learn Music From a Pro". That he is "A Pro". Jeff makes lessons interesting and easy to follow. He is patient, always on time. There were several times I was unable to attend a session and he made sure I could make up my time. I found Jeff to be very patient, Professional with his student's. He has the knowledge, ability and desire to pass on to his students. I'm truly grate full I choose Jeff Brent. He, without a doubt is a "Pro" and enjoys what he does.
