Hi friend, I am a versatile 40 year old who found success coaching someone, and discovered gifts I wanted to continue sharing with others. For the most part, my services are cerebral and academic in nature, but I am also practical - Someone who loves to Cook and can definitely help you Organize your home, so I posted offers for these services as well. I also make the most amazing Charcuterie Boards, and so my personal chef services include lending you boards to serve your guests on. You can purchase those, or just borrow them for the party. Ever puzzled by the economy? Me too, so for the past 30+ years I have been studying the topic, including at George Washington University, and in my own business, and I am eager to share my insights. Let's help you discover a comfortable niche for your economic ambitions! Strategy is about where you want to go, and that is your job, but I can certainly assist with asking questions, and working with you to develop the tactics of arriving at your destination on time and in tact. Why might your hire me? Maybe I can help you or your spouse achieve your professional dreams. Or I can help the younger members of your family plan for the future as a 1-to-1 tutor. I am also a strong writer and could help you draft or edit written documents for clarity, word choice, and to help you make sure it doesn't sound like all the mediocre AI voices we see so often now. I am quite strong in Economics but my practical work experience is in the Gifts Industry, having bootstrapped a craft studio (similar to manufacturing) to $3 million in cumulative revenue. Some think this is impressive, others maybe harder to impress, but either way, I've touched on a lot of diverse opportunities and skills, and want to pass on the wisdom I've gleaned along the way. I am also developing a new project, called Exchan.ge, (yes this is a working URL), that will help me offer products and services that touch on crypto-currency, digital identity, and asset markets. I live in Lowell, Massachusetts with my wife and our dog Shasta. I've also lived and worked in Washington, DC, and Dubai, UAE. I earned a B.A. in Economics from George Washington University along with about a dozen courses in Psychology. My new book is at the intersection of Economics, History, and Anthropology. I'd love to book 60 minute sessions from 7 am to 7 pm Eastern Time. Often, our goal is to work through your projects and conclude particular objectives within a couple up to half a dozen sessions, but if we hit it off and want to keep working together longer, I am open to that too. This coaching is typically done 1 to 1, because it is so dependent on your individual situation and goals. However, I do not ruling out the possibility of assisting you on an expanded scope of work, such as work projects that involve work outside of our 1 to 1 time together. For example, interviewing your colleagues, or other stakeholders in your project's success, like family. Or, your project might require research or content development, at your direction, and I would do this at your direction, but independently, if we decided. What brings us together here on Thumbtack. The professional experiences that I rely on most often for coaching are owning and managing American Stonecraft ®. As a product developer, manufacturer, wholesaler, and retailer, I’ve touched on a diverse range of the economy. Over the years, I’ve hired one hundred employees, managed risks, developed a new market, engineered processes, analyzed data, researched new opportunities, and communicated with stakeholders. What might I help you with? What are some more quirky accomplishments that I might apply to your projects? I’ve won a Chrome Industries messenger bag in an underground alleycat bicycle race. What could we find out that will help you in your journey somewhere new? Speaking of new, I’ve sold a dozen properties in Dubai, and I’ve raised capital from investors, and consulted hedge fund managers on an investment trade they make. Who knows what we want to embark on. I mention these stories to hopefully inspire you to dream big, or thing long range. Talk to you soon! -GeraldSee more
