Introduction

I am an ordained minister licensed to ordain marriages in West Virginia, and I can also ordain marriages in Maryland and Pennsylvania - but NOT Virginia. I’m sure I can probably do some in other states also but I would have to check state by state. These are of the places close to me. I want to help you make your day special. I like to text with you a bit ( or call if you prefer) and get to know you a little so I can write a ceremony that is very special for you and individualized for you. Then I give you choices- I will give you what I write and a couple of traditional scripts and let you choose. Whatever you choose is fine with me! I just like people to have that option. Also if there is anything unusual you would like to do, just ask! And if you need ceremony ideas - one of my favorites is doing a hand binding/hand fasting. I did my first recently and that was so beautiful. My goal is to help people get married anywhere that is special to them whether it is by the river, on a mountain, in a church or even in the snow. I am available for both big and small weddings. I am available on short notice as well. Spring and summer will fill up quickly so get in touch soon! I have Halloween 2026 booked but 2025 is still open! To reserve your day, you can give a 50% deposit now and the rest a week before the wedding. Right now I take PayPal cash ap Venmo and cash. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I will charge less for elopements. Let me know your situation and I’ll tell you the price. The two of you and me (along with my husband or best friend there to take a video for you, not professional videographers- just making sure you have something for yourself) may only cost 150 while a bigger wedding with more people is more. I also have a sister who would probably fill in if I got really sick or something- but that has never happened thankfully
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to text with them a bit and get to know them and then write a custom ceremony which I present along with a couple traditional templates and let them choose.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in history, anthropology and geography. This helps with my work in that I’m very conscientious about different cultures and customs and will work important things into your ceremony. With one couple I helped turn their favorite prayer into vows.
