He was able to give a rough estimate and cost immediately. When he arrived he was able to quickly shift gears based on some work that was necessary for the best end product. He advised us and we agreed. 2 days of work in an impending snow storm. Excellent end result. We will have him back out for work due to his responsiveness, quality of work and dedication to getting the job done right the first time. Call David and get work done. You won't regret it!

Does good work, but isn't very honest. He originally quoted me $500 to paint an entire bedroom and $300 to paint an entire bathroom. When I said I don't need the entire rooms painted, he quoted $500 for the little work I needed done. When I said, at that rate I should just have you paint them both entirely. Suddenly he came down to $300. He then canceled the appointment after we had agreed on a day. We rescheduled it, but when he came out earlier this week, he said it would take him at least 5 hours to do the work and demanded $500 - $600. I said no. It's not that much work and asked him to leave. He later calls me and we agree on an adjustment to $375 and he again says it will take him at least 5 hours. I agreed to the new terms only because I need the work done. He came out today to do the work and it's fine. However, it took him about 2 hours nowhere close to the 5 he was claiming. My advice: stay away from this guy.

I had Berkeley Home Services completely sand and paint my kids bedroom and fix a hole in a wall that is in my closet. The attention to detail and communication throughout the process was remarkable. He even cleaned up while he worked so he made sure the work space was cleaner then when he arrived. I am thoroughly impressed by Berkeley Home Services quality and will recommend them to everyone!!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My company tries to offer a fair competitive price that works out best for both the customer and the business. I want the pricing to reflect the confidence that you are getting a high quality reliable finished product but also at a reasonable price point.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to walk through my thought process and project management system with a new customer. I do like to have a good conversation about what their view is for their finished product and if this is simply the beginning of a much bigger project. Knowing as much details as possible helps me to serve the customer better by having a well thought of plan.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this work over a decade ago as a hobby with my best friends dad. He started a home remodeling company and I found myself passionate about Painting and other smaller projects. I enjoy flooring installation, tiling, power washing, handyman services and even furniture assembly.
