- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Well we do have a set price per the size of the room but need to know if the ceilings get done or just the walls , If it needs 1 coat or 2 coats or even more, Things like Patching and wall paper removal we really need to see those, Also woodwork like doors, trim and windows will need to see in person And Exterior painting work including decks we need to see those jobs as well in order to give a accurate bid
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to if I can meet face to face if not a phone call, From there I like to find out what they would like done and help with colors and or products but first and for most I want them to feel comfortable with us
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both my wife and myself has served an apprenticeship with the painters union local 781 over 35 years ago (Seems like a life time ago now I feel old) I also took 3 decorating classes and belong to the National Painters Association and attend 3-4 seminars a year we also attend the paint stores pro-shows to keep up on all the changes in the paints and product's available today
