Since 2016, I’ve proudly served the South-East Wisconsin community in the HVAC industry.
My journey began as a Maintenance Technician and, through hard work and determination, I advanced to positions like Service Technician, Senior Service Technician, Service Manager, and finally, Operations Director.
After eight years of climbing the ladder and mastering my craft, I decided to take the leap and start my own business, Tyler Epp Heating & Cooling.
In today’s HVAC market, two major challenges stand out: The high overhead costs of larger companies and the scarcity of skilled technicians who prioritize both exceptional service and technical expertise. These issues often lead to inflated prices for customers and inconsistent service quality.

Tyler took care of an old furnace I had upstairs that I've never used since I purchased my home. He got it up and running and preformed routine maintenance. He was very thorough and only charged me for a tune-up which was also cheaper than alot of other companies around. I will continue using Tyler for my future HVAC services! Thanks Tyler!

Tyler arrived promptly after I told him I had problems with my AC unit. I had previously used a different company who gave me the run around and tried to upsell a new unit which left me with a bad experience.Tyler, however, was able to tell me exactly what the problem was and what needed to be done to fix it. His fair pricing, honesty and responsiveness was a breath of fresh air! Easy to work with great service. I highly recommend him.

It’s unfortunate that even today, many companies still provide the bare minimum when it comes to explanations and even try to upsell services that aren’t truly needed. For me, honesty is the best policy. I’m not interested in technicians who prioritize a quick buck over building a genuine relationship with their customers.
On every job, I provide a basic summary on the invoice along with a separate, more technical explanation of the work performed. This covers everything I did from start to finish, as well as the reasons behind my decisions. Not only does this allow me to take pride in my work, but it also helps eliminate any confusion for both customers and any future service providers who may look at the invoice to understand the history of the HVAC equipment.

I have known Tyler Epp for years and always use him for any HVAC inquiries. I am mainly in Canada nowadays, but I use FaceTime diagnostics with Tyler for a half-price diagnostic fee as I am a very handy man and own my own electrical meter and tools. Tyler always walks me through over the phone with the diagnostic process and we always correctly diagnose the issue, and follow up with the proper needed repairs and how to obtain the correct parts. I have saved so much money by using Tyler Epp's services and preforming the needed repairs myself. What other business offers that? Tyler will always be my go-to for HVAC knowledge and help!
