Matthew catered a holiday cocktail party for us. He prepared approximately 9 dishes for 20 people, covering a full dinner. We were beyond pleased with Matthew! The food was delicious, presentation gorgeous (he even put post-its for me to help me arrange the food nicely), and he left our kitchen spotless. Matthew was professional and aligned the menu to meet our needs. Our guests were incredibly impressed as well. We will definitely work with Matthew again!

Chef Matt put together a private dinner event for my family and did a phenomenal job. The food - great flavors and healthy. Tropical Gazpacho was outstanding - I love gazpacho and it was the best one I've ever head. Matt was the best private chef we've hired - he took the time to understand our likes and dislikes and then served a meal that exceeded our expectations. Multiple small plates - everything very flavorful and fresh. Matt was very professional - flexible and punctual. We will definitely be hiring Matt again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For my personal chef services : Cookdates--$275.00 plus groceries---usually 30-45 meals every 3-4 weeks.I can do weekly cookdates with clients signing on for 6month contracts. I work with my clients to customize menus to meet various pricing requests.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had a family that was very food minded....I was catering with my dad as an adolescent and our first family restaurant at 15. I went to the CIA out of high school and have since spent my life working in all facets of the restaurant business. Mostly I just love to cook for friends and clients alike...good fresh food is meant to be shared and has the ability to make an impact in our daily lives. I strive to fill that role for my clients.
