FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard and flexible pricing. For wedding ceremonies, it is best if the prospective couple consider the inclusion of an initial meeting or rehearsal in their request for quote. Meetings & Rehearsals are welcome and always available, however they do pose for additional dates & time. Many Officiants include the costs of meetings & rehearsal time in their initial bids. I attempt to be more flexible. My fee can be adjusted for one date, two, or three - My best pledge is to give a quote that will best match your specify needs and budget. Be careful to answer the appropriate expection for your rate to be accurate. Time is a valuable commodity to be shared. If you have a budget, you may wish to forgo a rehearsal for a discounted rate. Distance may come into play for this as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin, it is best to discuss your Love Story. Where did you meet? How did each know, deep in your heart - this is the one! What was that moment about? Where were you? Once a few specifics are discussed then service options would come into question. I have been told it is difficult to find Officiants with Handfasting experience. I have joined many.... In various ways and various ceremonies. With friends & family members participating or me, as Officiant tieing the appropriate knots. I have experience with Sand, Glass or Paint Pourings - combining the granuals of couples togetherness and including or joining their children into the family circle through mingling.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I believe it is best in all professions to stay current in the trends of time. I have performed Star Wars, Rocky Horror, Monti Python and many other infused ceremonies. The ceremonies are created to the wishes presented for each couple. I constantly review many wedding sites and publications for new insite into exactly what couples would like to have expressed in current times.
