Jack's Music Lessons

I get results, because I am passionate about my work and I make sure that the lessons are interesting and enjoyable. If we have fun learning, then we remember more and better with less stress. My students enjoy performing their music, especially for themselves and for an audience. They know and can explain their music - where it came from in history, the form in which it is composed and something about the composer. They have enough knowledge about what they are doing, that they could teach it to someone else. I teach them to be independent, so that they do not need my presence in order to present themselves to an audience. The best part of my teaching are the "aha" moments. These are the times when the student expresses a confident knowledge in the material that was formerly confusing - the "Oh... NOW I get it!" experience. This is the time when true knowledge comes to roost and the student feels exhilaration and confidence regarding a new understanding about which they were formerly unclear .
