- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing for basic services or small projects is an hourly rate with the first hour at $85 to cover all travel expenses related to the project, then $65/hr afterwards plus whatever materials may be needed for completion. For larger projects I offer quotes for the job itself.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with customers I like to first discuss the project on the phone to get a scope of work. With more involved projects and projects with a pricing quote I like to converse about the work over the phone then schedule on onsite review of the project. Once I establish what the client's needs and wants are I set a date, time and projected completion date for the work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been remodeling homes for over 12 years. I currently own several rental properties in the Milwaukee area that I have remodeled and provide maintenance for. Over the past 5 years I have hired out my services for a wide range of projects from the small - replacing a light fixture - to the large - full remodel of a 100 year old home.
