FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on 1-hour lessons. My price is $55.00 per hour for a student who is doing 1 lesson/week, which is very competitive! With more than 1 lesson per week, the price per lesson goes down substantially! The price per lesson goes DOWN, while the student's PROGRESS goes UP exponentially!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start with a free intro/trial lesson to see if it is a good student-teacher match. Once we start working together, we see what it is he or she needs to learn and where to start. I asses what their goals are, and make sure that while we are working on their concrete goals, we are also learning the basics, which may seem like it doesn't have anything to do with their goals, but ultimately, it does. You need to lay down a solid foundation with those beginner students. Some students come to me with a lot of skills already. I am happy to say that I am able to pinpoint where they are with their learning, and provide lessons so they can continue learning at a higher level.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
