From first contact, Luke was responsive, answered all our questions and provided updated information throughout the job process. Jess, was also prompt in assuring we received contracts and other pertinent information on schedule. The work provided was of the highest caliber and even included suggestions for care and maintenance. We would recommend Taste of the Northwest, LLC, without hesitation. Friendly, professional, and meticulous.

Luke did an absolutely wonderful job on our bathroom. I am extremely happy with my new bathroom. He is a perfectionist, and it shows in his work. If your looking for someone to do tile work, you can find no one better.

Luke was professional, but was also sensitive to what I wanted. He had some artistic suggestions that I hadn’t thought of that made it extra special. I love my new walk-in shower!

Please don’t hire Taste of Northwest LLC for any of your home improvement needs. Luke seemed so professional in the beginning, he came by and we explained to him what we wanted done. My husband and I wanted a 10x8 concrete slab and a shed assembled, which we had already purchased. Luke collected 50% upfront to start the job, which he was late arriving to. Days went by, Luke made several excuses, one of them being he had to watch his newborn baby. When Luke finally showed to start the project, we showed him where we wanted the shed which was 3ft away from the property line. Luke did exactly what he thought was easiest for him, which he prepped a spot in the middle of our yard. My husband and I weren’t satisfied with placement and asked him to move the spot to what we agreed on before pouring concrete. Luke agreed to move placement, several days went by without any contact after calling him multiple times, we then called his girlfriend Jessica. Finally Luke responded and the excuse again was he had to babysit. To sum it all up Luke left us with a huge mess after running off with our money. There is cement all over our yard, a pile of dirt left in our neighbors yard, the instructions for our shed ruined from being exposed to rain, a poor cement job and an I assembled shed, which we had to hire new contractors to finish. BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR. Luke and Jess work together scamming others out of their hard earned money. They have a reputation for not completing jobs in the Wisconsin/Illinois area and destroying property while on site.

Taste of the Northwest, LLC's reply
While we appreciate you leaving a review what we don’t appreciate is you slandering our business. Both you and your husband postponed the project multiple times because you could not make a decision on where you want to position your shed, which ultimately pushed our completion date along with multiple days of bad weather. The amount of money you paid for a deposit doesn’t even cover the costs we spent on labor, equipment rental and concrete- so NO, we did not run off with your money. We paid money out of our own pocket for the work that was completed at your house. We feel very verbally abused by you and your husband and do respect this defamation of character. Also, please do not use my newborn child in your statement- we had an initial deadline that worked around OUR schedules and you decided to change things around. We are not scammers and contrary to what you’ve said, we have an excellent rapport with our clientele. I hope things work out for you in the future and make more timely decisions for your future contractors so they won’t have to deal with your indecisiveness.
