We were not able to meet Pastor Dan before our wedding, but we were in contact with him often and he was so personable…..made us feel so good about our choice in choosing him. At the ceremony, he incorporated my deceased daughter into being a part of it which made me and her sister cry. Very professional about the whole thing, and we got alot of complements from alot of people that Pastor Dan did a great job ! We felt like he was part of our family and I would highly recommend him……you won’t be disappointed !

Paster Dan was unable to do our wedding due to health problems. His son Ben officiated our wedding, which was an elopement. Ben made our ceremony so beautiful and personal. Thank you both for making our life together full of hope and love.

After reading Pastor Dan Carlson's reviews and speaking with him on the phone, we decided to have him do our wedding in June. During our conversation with him over the phone, we were able to see why he is one of the top officiants. Pastor Dan asked us many questions about our ceremony that we hadn't even thought of (music as the bridesmaid walked down the aisle, music as I walked down, music as we walked down as a married couple, our parents, etc). He told us his background and about his family and asked about ours. We are so excited we are going with him and can't wait to work with him!

After speaking with Pastor Dan I knew he was the right person to officiate our wedding! He was quick to contact me back and wanted to get to know me, and my fiancé. He is open minded, pleasant, easy to talk to! He wanted to make our wedding about us and the things that are important to us and our family. He is non judgmental, supportive, and friendly. I would recommend him for a wedding or as a counseling/life coach because he has the experience and skills to help and to make your wedding personal and memorable!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $105 an hour for counseling. My rate for weddings is $375. Some travel to see me, however I will travel to make it more convenient for my clients. If I drive beyond 15 miles I receive $0.50 per mile.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will typically first speak on the phone to get an idea whether it would be a good match. I then will meet at a neutral place like a Starbucks or a Barnes & Noble. For premarital counseling I usually meet in our home.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My degree is in theology but I also have 540 hours of clinical pastoral education(CPE), 50 hours of training for the Lifeskills program, and postgraduate classes pertaining to pastoring and counseling.
