FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge a minimum of $150 for each appointment, then $60/hr after the first two hours. Projects needing multiple days and significant material costs will be provided an up-front itemized flat estimate, free of charge. Once we're agreed, I ask for a 1/3rd deposit to begin the project, with the latter 2/3rds paid on job completion.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Establishing trust and common ground is the critical first step in working with a new customer. My goal is to always ensure that all parties feel comfortable, and stress is kept to the absolute minimum. I have no hidden fees and keep all communication transparent.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've worked with a wide variety of tradespeople during my years in Milwaukee - every project is a valuable learning experience. I've apprenticed with very talented carpenters with a wide variety of specializations, from emergency restoration to general construction, fencing to finish carpentry. It's given me a broad skill set that keeps me flexible and lets me adapt to any work scenario.
