- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All services whether for a move or assembly have a two hour minimum labor charge. Most singular assembly take at least an hour or two depending on the item. Just know that manufacturers and product documentation varies as does the time each piece takes to get assembled. If you have multiple items needing assembled or an outdoor assembly it will take longer. Multiple item assemblies and specifically outdoor playground assemblies and gazebos can take anywhere up to 10 hours or longer. We highly encourage you to provide any photos, pictures, product numbers or links of the items you are needed assembled so our Busy Beaves can research the assemblies ahead of time so they can review the material and help make your build go a quicker and smoother. Most smaller 1-2 bedrooms apartment and home moves are estimated at around 4-5 hours depending on the travel requirements and what each specific location is like. Some of these moves can go around 6-7 hours. Full home moves which include basements, sheds or multiple stops can be all day moves taking 10-12 hours depending on the number of trips or loads. Currently we are renting our moving trucks so if you are needing a full service move which requires us to rent a moving truck we also have a $150 Truck and Transportation fee minimum to cover our truck rental cost as well as our mileage and gas costs. The Truck and Transportation fee may vary depending on the amount of mileage that has to be driven to complete the move. All services have a $50 Transportation charge minimum, but all final Truck, Mileage, and Transportations Fees are determined based on the addresses provided for your services. All hourly moving labor rates begin when we arrive at your pickup location and end when the job is completed. For both assemblies and moves we can offer one, two or three Beaves to help you get the job done. Rates increase with each requested Beave. For payments and reservations we either accept cash or any debit or credit cards via the Square Platform Services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call is required on installation or assembly jobs to confirm date, time and service. For all moving jobs a phone call is also required. If the job is booked well in advance you will be contacted the Monday of the week of your service via text to confirm that we are still scheduled and nothing has changed. Then on the day of the move you will receive a phone call before your Lead Beave begins heading out to your home location. You will be given an ETA base on their Google Map directions so you will know exactly when you can expect them to arrive at your location. All construction projects begin with our in home consultation. During the consultation you will get a chance to meet both Aaron and Steve your Beave Build Construction Team. You can ask them any questions and share what your vision is for your space. Then after their visit they will get busy working on your project proposal which will lay out the estimates and let you know what you can expect your project to cost. This Project Proposal will be provided no later than the following evening. Our next day proposal guarantee is our promise to you. It show you we are serious about getting to work for you. It is the foundation of our relationship and for everything else we do. If you choose to proceed with the proposal all you have to do is sign the contract and follow up with us. We will begin with collecting the required deposit and ordering material if needed so we can get to work right away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to forming Busy Beaves LLC, the business operated under Lange Transport LLC. Lange Transport LLC had to be dissolved during the covid crisis in 2000, but Lange Transport LLC operated for three years and had nation wide contracts with such companies as Dunhams Express, Installs Inc, GoConfigure, and Menards. The contracts with these national suppliers and local companies required deliveries and assemblies of all types. Everything from home appliances, construction supplies, fitness equipment, outdoor furniture, and more. Prior to operating Lange Transport LLC, work experience was gained in the Moving industry working for such companies as Mad City Moving, You Move Me, Sears, Slumberland, Basset Direct Plus and others.
