- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All singular assemblies have a two hour minimum charge. Most singular assembly items take an hour or two depending on the item. Just know that manufacturers and product documentation varies as does the time each piece takes to get assembled. If you have multiple items needing assembled or an outdoor assembly it will take longer. Multiple item assemblies and outdoor playground assemblies can take 5-6 hours or longer. We highly encourage you to provide any photos, pictures, product numbers or links of the items you are needed assembled so our Busy Beaves can research the assemblies ahead of time, save you time and help your build go a little quicker and smoother. All our moving service have a three hour minimum regardless of number of pieces requiring moved or the distance of the move. In addition to our hourly rates all services have a $50 transportation fee if outside of our local area. If you are requiring a moving truck for your move we assess a $150 Truck and transportation fee to cover our truck rentals and mileage costs. The Truck and Transportation fee may vary depending on the amount of mileage that has to be driven to complete the move. Please provide specific pickup and destination addresses to assure you are quoted correctly. All hourly moving rates begin when we arrive at your pickup location and end when the job is completed. For both assemblies and moves we can offer one, two or three Beaves to help you get the job done. Rates increase with each requested Beave. Discounts or special offers may be available from time to time based on the job or at a Beaves discretion so it never hurts to ask. For payments and reservations we accept cash, and all credit cards. We can take contactless payments or we can accept payment through the use of the Cash App
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A phone call is required on all jobs to confirm date, time and service. This makes sure we have confirmation for our workers the evening before and so we can al, be on the same page. Plus it helps us makes the job go more smoothly. On the day of the booked job you will receive a call from us before we are heading out from our home location to give you our ETA so you will know when you can expect us to arrive at your location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Prior to forming Busy Beaves LLC, the business operated under Lange Transport LLC. Lange Transport LLC had to be dissolved during the covid crisis in 2000, but Lange Transport LLC operated for three years and had nation wide contracts with such companies as Dunhams Express, Installs Inc, GoConfigure, and Menards. The contracts with these national suppliers and local companies required deliveries and assemblies of all types. Everything from home appliances, construction supplies, fitness equipment, outdoor furniture, and more. Prior to operating Lange Transport LLC, work experience was gained in the Moving industry working for such companies as Mad City Moving, You Move Me, Sears, Slumberland, Basset Direct Plus and others. The ins and outs of the transportation, delivery, and assembly industry we learned over a course of a few decades and a number of high value skills were learned. Lange Transport LLC worked on many small and large residential moves as well. Working and leading crews of two, three and four man.
