If you are not located in SW Washington or the surrounding areas, we will have to do remote/online lessons=== Pricing can be found in the FAQ section of my profile. We offer completely personalized and organic music lessons that allow the student to truly grasp the concepts of music at their own rate. My wife, Ayel, and I work together to provide the best fit for any student. Typically beginner level students (or those who would prefer to work with a female instructor) will work with her until they are skilled enough to move over to advanced theory/soloing/guitar lessons. There is nothing more important to me than the spread of music. I have been studying and teaching music since I was 9 years old and it has been a life long dream to teach, few things can even come close to my love for teaching music.

both Chris and Ayel have been amazing in helping with my growth in music. ive learned so much in the short amount of time weve been working together and that just makes me more excited for all my future lessons. Chris is one of the best guitarists ive ever met, hes amazing when it comes to knowledge of not only the instrument but also music as a whole. theyre both awesome and genuine people that share a love for music and i cant recommend them enough!!

Chris and Ayel are phenomenal musicians and somehow even better people. I chose them because of not only these qualities, but because of the true value they provide with each lesson. They immediately put you on a track that is catered specifically to your experience, and goals, and will give you so much to work on when you’re not in the lesson. The true value they provide is in guidance for what to do when they aren’t teaching you. You will have so much more insight and learn many new things on a regular basis while getting better and better each time you pick up the guitar. Two of the most impressive teachers I’ve ever had as someone going for their Master’s right now and a lot of prior experience with music. They respond very quickly and thoughtfully, and you can really tell how much they care about their students success.

My lessons with Ayel are the highlight of my week. I appreciate how she teaches fundamentals but also tailors the session to my musical interests. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Normal Rates are as follows: -Advanced Lessons w/Chris- $45 for a half-hour lesson $55 for a forty-five minute lesson $65 for an hour lesson -Beginner Lessons w/Ayel- $35 for a half-hour lesson $45 for a forty-five minute lesson $55 for an hour lesson (all pricing is for lessons online only, any lessons taken in my home office will have an additional $5 fee) Discounts are offered to students who are genuinely serious, have consistent and good attendance, and/or buy lessons in bulk If you work with us, we will work with you
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We offer a free first lesson, much like an interview so that we can explain our process in detail, learn your goals and ambitions with music, and help you set benchmarks for yourself. We then personalize a lesson plan for you that shifts with your learning style and speed.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associates in Arts and Music, and am currently furthering my education towards a bachelor's degree in music composition. That is coupled with over 12 years of musical performance.
