We enlisted MK Interiors to do an entire condo remodel for us. Every interior surface was touched to bring the condo from the 1970’s to today’s standards and styles. From the initial meeting Miranda’s tremendous energy only increased as the project progressed . Miranda will always listen to the client’s wishes and then tweaks them to fit the cohesive plan she has envisioned. Miranda’s professionalism is also reflected in her staff who are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Miranda is an absolute powerhouse of a designer! She’s attentive, has incredible taste, is FUN to work with and goes way above and beyond her requirements to deliver a next-level project. A total “can do” attitude and won’t stop until the job is done. As in - she’ll spend days searching for your perfect paint color and delivering samples until you’re happy. Her help was invaluable for the full remodel and redesign of our home — and she has the best local connections for contractors, suppliers, retailers and more (something I could never have gotten on my own). The best part of working with Miranda was her ability to push us out of our comfort zone to ensure we had a truly unique design - something fully worth every penny we spent. Don’t hesitate on this one!

We had an excellent experience working with Miranda, who helped us pick the finishes for a recent bathroom remodel. She is very knowledgeable, has a keen design eye, and is also a great communicator. Miranda was able to envision the look we were going for right away and tracked down options for flooring, shower tile, vanity, hardware, etc. that met our goals for aesthetics, functionality, and budget. Plus, shes really fun to shop with!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We are a mix of flat fee and hourly! Our flat fee onboards our clients and allows our team to comprehend the project, generate plans by either, connecting with the architect or measuring the home, and creating a concept design plan to review with the clients. Our hourly rate kicks in as soon as our concept design has been presented to the clients. Everything outside of this part of the process is hourly as there are unforeseen variables that can cause a project to lengthen its times line. Examples of this include additional CAD work, unforeseen construction problems, project additions, revisions, construction documentation, delays in product and materials, etc.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial outreach is crucial so we can learn more about what the project at hand is! From there, we will schedule a discovery call (approx 20 min) to discuss the project more in depth and go over our process!
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with many types of clients! Our ideal client is someone who respects intentional and curated interior design, finds value in a dedicated design team, and looks for high quality craftsmanship in their finish home.
