- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We started this company because we saw a lot of opportunity in the industry. There is a big market and a lot of ways to make it better. We have great software that makes the booking process super easy on customers and we have great people, and that is how we have built this company to where it is in such a short period of time!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Take some time to do the research. There are a bunch of companies and private folks out there. It really pays off in the long run if you hire trustworthy people that are running their business the right way. And make sure whomever you hire carries insurance so if they break anything it is covered! We carry insurance by the way :)
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I wish customers knew about our charitable donations. The CEO's wife is a teacher, and he has experience first hand how hard teachers work for not much money. They spend a lot of their own money buying school supplies, because to them it isn't about the money it is about helping the kids. That is why Housemaidhero, since it was founded in early 2014, has given 5% of its earnings to local teachers for school supplies through our partners at donors choose.org!
