FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We do an hourly rate of $35 per cleaner for one-time cleanings, move-in and move-out cleans and first time deep cleans, if needed. Regularly scheduled cleanings are billed at a flat per visit rate, depending, of course, on the size and condition of the home, it's furnishings, what tasks the client wants to have included and the frequency selected. I always give a free on-site quote to establish a flat per cleaning rate. Our quoted prices include all taxes and all supplies and equipment necessary to complete job. If the client wants to supply a special product for use in the home we will be happy to use it but that will not affect the price we charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a persons shows interest in using our services the first thing I want to do is set up a time when we can get together for a free, no obligation on-site quote. I can give an idea of what the price will be ahead of time, but, until I see the home and talk to the householder about his or her expectations I cannot say for sure what the price will be. Many homes require a first time deep cleaning to get things under control. Once I see the condition of the home and know what, if any, special jobs that the client desires for that first time I can give a good estimate of what the final price will be at our hourly rate of $35 per cleaner. One time cleanings and move-in and move-out cleanings of unfurnished homes are handled the same way. Some people want to pay for a block of time and we can work from a list of priorities doing everything we can during the allotted time. For the regularly scheduled cleanings I will give a solid written quote which is a flat rate for each time the house is cleaned. At the time of the quote I will also provide the householder with a list of some of our clients as references and a list of the regular things we would be doing at each visit. We do not require residential clients to sign a contract for any specific time. Once the householder decides to use our services we will set up a time to do the first deep clean, if required. Then I will assign a dedicated team to work at the home on a regular schedule. I will send a calendar with dates of service marked to all clients except weekly schedules. We will need a secure way for the cleaners to access the home if the clients will not be there. Most people give a key or an access code to open the door. Once a schedule is set up our workers will always be there to clean. We ask our clients to remember that our ladies depend on this income to live so we expect to do the services on the agreed schedule and if they need to cancel a service that they let us know as much ahead of time as possible.
