- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price based on linear feet for fences and square feet for decks. Our prices are considered low to medium range as far as how we price compared to other companies that do similar custom work. It is always free to you to have us come measure and give a quote for your project(s). No hidden fees, everything is written plainly on the quote given—if you don’t change your project details/requests once the final quote is given, we don’t change the price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once you contact us that you have a project you need a quote for, we reach out to you to schedule when we can come out and meet you at the project site. When we meet we will measure, and then discuss what kind of fence/deck you want and what materials you prefer. Pictures you have of your request are helpful. Then give us 1-3 days to get you a written quote. When you decide to hire us, we request the quote signed, as it then becomes a contract between us. We also request half down in payment, as we use this to preorder materials so they can be ready by the start date, and also as a good faith payment that you are ready to move forward and be set in the schedule. We will contact you 1-2 days before the start date to remind you we are coming. Our phone is always open for your questions and comments throughout the process. Text is our preferred method of communication. If you leave a voicemail/text, it usually takes us 24 hours or les to respond, usually by the end of the day.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Get multiple bids, at least 3. This way when you hire someone you can feel good about the price and the people you are working with.
