FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have terms and conditions sent in the invoice that customers are given more information and any additional costs and unforeseen charges. Prices and charges are always discussed with customers before any work begins. If there are some unexpected charges due to changes or unexpected situations examples are: excessive build up, additional square footage then reported, requested new areas or tailored cleaning in addition to initial job, type of job from regular cleaning to a junk removal, or decluttering/hoarded items). These changes are ALWAYS discussed with the customer before proceeding to make sure there is CLEAR communication and no surprises in changed quotes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We talk about the project, costs, pictures to get an idea of the job, and schedule the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA degree. I have worked in the community with a variety of people from all walks of life. I have experience in the Human Services/Social Work field. I have worked as a human service professional helping encourage change with a person-centered approach. These skills are extremely helpful in cases when people have difficulties parting from excessive items. Mostly with decluttering and removal of hoarded items. This can be difficult for people when they become emotionally attached to possessions that have become overwhelmingly difficult to live with and also to let go of. Understanding how delicate these circumstances are and being able to use skills and acknowledge the stages of change and working with individuals to help the process be smooth and rewarding.
