Introduction
Everything is home made from scratch, from my sauces to baked goods. I put my signature on everything that leaves my kitchen. Food is my passion, something that I take pride in and every dish reflects that. The smells. Since I was a little girl, I've always loved the aromas escaping from my grandmother's kitchen. Her cobblers, fresh bread, even her seafood gumbo would invite everyone in the neighborhood and her doors were never closed.

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am currently a student at Bates Technical College in Tacoma, taking their food truck course. I plan on opening my own truck by this summer 2015. I am also a member of the American Culinary Federation and I am always taking workshops they have to offer. Whether it be plating techniques or Ice sculpting, I'm always looking ways to improve my craft.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was about 7 years old I attended a small private school, and there the "lunch lady" would allow me to help her prepare meals. It would be small tasks like counting silverware or napkins, but watching her cook I felt I was looking at magician. A sprinkle of this, a dash of this and her knife skills, amazed me. But my favorite part of getting to taste test everything, oh boy I hit the jackpot! I had to learn, and she taught even to this day over 20 years later she still can't get rid of me :)
