They obviously thought I was a competitor trying to scam them and glean information about their prices or something, because the first communication from them was "Ok - What company are you with?" Just because I know a fair amount about construction (I've owned 4 businesses over a span of 45 years) and have survived several million+ business construction projects - and am a well educated, detailed person - they pegged me as evil. They evidently thought my "scope of work" request was too organized and detailed. After somewhat reluctantly clarifying that I was indeed a private party looking to fill a personal residential need, I was told they would get back to me . . . then NOTHING. No "No thanks", No "We don't believe you.", NOTHING. Very poor business practice. So anyone who knows what their needs are, and who can clearly communicate that to a prospective builder, and won't put up with a smoke screen bid -- don't use this one! They evidently want people who are willing to just sit back, take their word for everything and HOLD ON.
