Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful! The first thing I want to say is that, as a single woman, it is really hard to find contractors that are willing to work with and be respectful of me (just me, no husband). I find that most contractors talk down to me, can be very disrespectful and frustrating to work with. That makes it hard to pay attention to even the most beautiful workmanship because the people doing the work are so awful to deal with. I'm so glad to say that was not the situation here. After meeting Francisco, I actually didn't get any other bids other than the one my general contractor brought me (which was twice the cost of Work Of Art Floors). I liked Francisco so much, I decided to just go with his company. That was such a good choice! Francisco was an absolute pleasure to work with in every way, shape and form. Whenever I look at my floors, I'm going to think of him and smile. He was kind, respectful, detail oriented, generous with his time, and a consummate professional. If I could select all five (punctuality, value, professionalism, quality of work, responsiveness) as factors in which Francisco and Work Of Art Floors excels, I would. Add to that an extraordinary attention to detail, an interest in making sure the customer is 100% satisfied, and making this absolutely the only wonderful and joyful part of an extremely painful remodel, I am so glad I found Francisco and Work Of Art Floors! From flexibility on the start date to willingness to talk through every detail and take care of every tiny little issue, Francisco was there, energetic with a positive attitude, and worked so hard to get things done! I can't say enough good things about my experience with Work Of Art Floors! I live in North Tacoma, where all of the houses are built on fill. The floors are sloped, had big gaps and cracks, stains from years of wear and required several patches because of leaks over the years. Francisco made everything look seamless, feathering patches in and replacing flooring with the appropriate species of wood, then sanding and refinishing to perfection. No damage was done to my house, nothing went missing, and everything went off without a hitch. The process took about a week, just as he promised. Then, after the final coat when they realized that they had refinished the floor but forgotten to lock the front door, Francisco called me at 9 PM and told me that he was staying outside my house until the finish dried so that he could go back in and lock the door. Thank you, Francisco, for making this the only completely positive experience in my seven month long (unplanned, due to a toilet leak) remodel!

Francisco was fantastic to work with for our flooring project (refinishing one floor and buff/coat a second + stairs) while we were out of state. He walked us through how he would do the work, what kinds of things he looked for, showed us how to evaluate the life left in our flooring, the kind of tools he uses and even offered to fix a couple of water-damaged boards for free! The result was absolutely stunning and the whole experience was smooth. The project was delivered on schedule and he was highly responsive! I would highly recommend working with him!

Francisco & Betty did an great job refinishing the floor in our home! It's a 25 y/o floor and had some cupping, lots of scratches and worn areas too. Francisco said he could fix it all up and make it beautiful again. He promised me I would be in awe of it when he was done, and well, he was right! The floor is perfect, it is better than new! They explained the whole process and kept us in the loop the entire time they were here. If you have a wood floor that needs some work - let Francisco and Betty do it! They are trustworthy and pro all the way!
