Introduction

I've studied with some of the best voice teachers around, including George Peckham, and the Metoplitan Opera's Marcia Baldwin. My performance experience is vast, and includes everything from appearing on America's Got Talent, to singing with Seattle Opera.m, and founding Illumni Men's Chorale. Prior to becoming a full-time performer, I spent 10 years as a Speech and Debate Coach. As a voice teacher, my students have been nominated for Broadway World Awards, won the High School State Campionships, and have appeared on stages all over the area. I love to help people work with their voice - whether it's singing, speaking, and learning how to hear music! Singing is one of the most popular hobbies in America. I love to help people realize they -can- sing, and help seasoned pros bump up their game.

Chris commissioned a work from me for his men's chorus, Illumni Men's Chorale. He tirelessly rehearsed my piece to give many amazingly musical and touching performances of it. He also put together funding and recorded the piece at London Bridge Studios to be included on the group's Christmas CD. Chris is hard working, extremely dedicated, and amazingly musical. His interpretation of my music was spot on. I would recommend Chris as a performer, conductor, clinichian, soloist, and instructor to anyone I know.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lessons are $45/30 minutes, $60 /45 minutes, and $75/an hour. 5-10% discounts are available on packages.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We sit down and go over goals, find out what you want to do, and go over your background. Then we hear you sing or speak, so I can offer the best advice, and make a plan to achieve those goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Vocal Performance at Pacific Lutheran University, and Digital Scoring at EdCC. My voice teachers have included, Marcia Baldwin, George Peckham and Barry Johnson, and I studied conducting with Dr Richard Sparks and Kathryn Lehmann.
