FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
At Tech Hero, we do our best to provide the best service for the best price. The way we do this is by combining a flat half-hour and hourly rate with with our technical efficiency that gives our customers the most for their money. The majority of non-hardware related computer and systems issues can be handled remotely by our technicians, but in the event that an on-site visit is needed, We do charge a little bit more for that and always discuss that with our customers in advance. We are not out to take all your money. We want to help. You have money, and we can meet somewhere in the middle. That is how we at Tech Hero view commerce.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The very first thing that happens with a new customer is a phone call. It's free, and we want to discuss the problems you would like to solve or the tasks you would like to accomplish. That way, we can figure out what solution works best for your unique situation. For issues involving computers that aren't hardware related, we have some nifty tools that will allow us to get you the help you need much quicker by connecting one of our technicians (with your permission of course!) into the system remotely. This saves our customers money, time, and helps with social distancing! If a remote solution is not sufficient for a problem, then our Tech Heroes will happily make a house-call to your home or business to get the equipment or systems you need help with squared away. In the Tech world, the problems vary greatly, so the solutions change as well. When we think that there maybe an extension of work beyond an initial quote you may have received, we will work with you to figure out what makes the most sense for you economically before moving forward. For larger projects and businesses, we have direct lines on all the equipment, software, and licenses you could ever need. Oh, and access to the Tech Heroes who can get it working for you of course!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with everyone from a residential home owner struggling to navigate their new computer, to a small business owner trying to figure out how technology could be used to help support their dream, and even a medium-sized business opening a whole new location and scaling up... Tech Hero has got your back!
