11/12/24 I have 23 years of overnight pet sitting at the clients home providing care for cats. I also care for smaller, calm dogs that are NOT anxious, under 45 lbs, out of the puppy stage. I 💜 cats/dogs and work from your home during the day time, teaching online meditation. I don't have pets of my own and will provide a lot of TLC and attention to your pets. Cat rate is less than rate listed. *Unavailable on these dates, booked with other clients: 11/22 - 12/29/24 While taking care of your pets & home, I'll keep you updated with texts & pictures of your pets. Kindly read my reviews, profile, rates & availability to determine if we're a good match. A 5-night minimum stay is required, unless you're booking a 2nd longer trip. The base rate for one cat is lower than dog rate listed depending on location, trip length, and the cat's needs. Dog rates are higher, preference is minimum 2 pets. Please include the type of dog(s), their ages, your location, and any specific care requirements, and I'll provide a rate. I am responsible, trustworthy, dependable, and resourceful, able to handle any issues that may arise with your pets or home. I connect deeply with both cats and dogs—I'm often referred to as a "cat whisperer." However, I prefer calm dogs, as I conduct coaching sessions during the day. I'm already booked for Thanksgiving & Christmas, but available starting mid-day December 29th, ending a pet sit in Alki, West Seattle. *Please Include in your inquiry trip dates, pet type/ages, photos and your location/neighborhood. Kindly confirm it's a non-smoking, organized, clutter free home. :) I serve Olympia and Lacey area within 15 minutes of the Puget Sound and well as North & West Seattle, Camano Island or any waterfront home. Donna came and stayed in my home for three nights and four days. Oreo is a senior dog, 15+ years old and has renal failure. I could not get out of a work trip and needed someone very reliable and dependable that could take Oreo to the vet for emergency services if needed. Fortunately that was not needed, but I know if that was the case Donna is capable of supporting that process. The house was left nice and tidy, bed stripped like requested, etc. I would have no qualms hiring Donna again if needed. I do have family that can watch Oreo, but at her advanced age I wanted Oreo comfortable in her own space. If you have any specific questions please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Donna took good care of our household of pets, 2 dogs and 3 cats. She was conscientious in her care and communication with us throughout our travels. In fact we were delayed on our return trip and she was able to stay an additional night, which was so reassuring for us until we could get home.

Donna was a godsend. We were nervous about hiring someone we had never met before but were re-assured by her detailed questions and obvious concern about our animals and home even before we met her. But more importantly, our animals loved her. When we returned from our trip it was clear they were their calm and happy selves. Donna took fantastic care of them and our home looked great. We hope to use her again!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I stay at your house during the daytime as well as spending the night. I'm a Life Coach and teach online classes during the day while keeping your pets company. I don't lower my rate for 1 pet. Accepting calm dogs, under 40 lbs and over 2 years old. For rates: email or text me pet types/ages, address/location, trip dates, include a picture of pets. Non-smoking, clutter free homes only.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Send information to each other to determine if we are a good match. I like to see a pictures of the pets, kitchen and living room and yard. The reason I ask for pics of your home is to avoid a tour of a cluttered house. It happened once and awkward. I'm happiest in an organized, clutter free home. Once you read my profile and reviews and send pics, lets schedule a phone call or FaceTime.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In my 21 years experience as an overnight pet sitter, I've learned though true life experience. Various emergency situation have occurred and my resourcefulness, maturity and wisdom how to handle situation in the moment. I understand energy and balance my energy daily, which cats/dogs pick up on energy. I have a big heart and loving pets comes naturally.
