******************** Taylor is a certified personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), trained martial artist, performer, choreographer, and team leader. She graduated from the University of Washington with her bachelor's degree in dance. Taylor's area of expertise include strength training, flexibility training, Pilates, weight loss, dance conditioning, power training, and high intensity interval training (HIIT). She has coached at Academy Athletics, The Four Seasons Hotel, has been a featured trainer on 30/10 Weight Loss’s Apex program, and is a managing choreographer for The Bellevue Collection’s annual holiday parade Snowflake Lane. For the past 10 years, she has devoted herself to studying the science of movement and nutrition. Taylor works with clients of all ages and prefers to use movement as means of keeping the body healthy and injury-free throughout life. She believes in promoting longevity via a long-term relationship with fitness. Our yoga instructor, Sophie, specializes in Vinyasa yoga, but has experience teaching mindful movement and strength-based classes as well. Sophie's approach to teaching yoga is individual and inclusive. She aims to provide access to yoga for all bodies and cater to all experience levels while prioritizing safety and proper alignment. Her training emphasized the history of yoga, including how the practice has been commercialized and appropriated over time. Taylor is by far the best personal trainer I've had. She took the time to understand what I wanted to accomplish, let me set the pace and worked with me through personalized training plans to reach my goals. You can't find a better personal trainer than her.

All it took was one 1 hour session with Taylor, and I was shocked by her knowledge and execution in personal training and fitness. I've had several trainers and coaches as both a high school and college athlete, so I can truly tell when I find one that stands out from the rest. Taylor is definitely one of them! Her ability to change workouts on the fly to accommodate equipment ability and my abilities (or lack there of) were so impressive. She was able to make such simple yet help cues, and it's so impressive that someone only in her 20s who I can call my agemate has so much knowledge and talent in this field that I could only dream of!

Taylor deserves all the stars I can give her. 100/10. She is so patient, so kind, so accommodating. As someone coming from a dance and personal training background, she was able to bridge my dance expertise and introduction to strength training. She is super knowledgeable and provides articulate, eloquent, and easy to follow explanations about understanding your body and making those mind-body connections. I feel so much stronger since I started training with her, both physically and mentally. Run don’t walk to book a session with Taylor.

Taylor has done a fantastic job of creating a personalized workout routine to help get me into shape. Every session we cycle new exercises that keeps working out fun and exciting. Furthermore, Taylor is always punctual and her dedication to my fitness goals is evident.

Taylor has transformed my life. I have never had a trainer before, and over the course of a year, she has built up my body and built up my confidence. She has approached sessions with support and understanding, going out of her way to use genuine encouragement to lift me up rather than using tough love to tear me down. Due to her deep understanding of anatomy and physiology, she has always explained the reasoning behind each exercise, including which muscle groups were being targeted and how they were being targeted. As I have learned the inner workings of my muscle groups better, I have come to understand the importance of doing each exercise with correct form to avoid injury and to isolate the correct parts of my body. I realize now that much of the effort that I put into fitness prior to knowing Taylor had largely been a squandered effort, since my incorrect form, inability to increase resistance appropriately, and unwillingness to work out consistently led to stagnation rather than progress. Taylor has always been exceptionally professional - over the course of over a hundred sessions together, she has never been late once, even while going out of her way to travel to my location every time. She has shown a consistent passion for body positivity, speaking out against superficial measurements of success and pushing back against physical insecurities. She has also displayed a wealth of knowledge on a variety of topics outside of fitness, providing thought-provoking conversation during every session that has always left me feeling enriched and engaged. I wholeheartedly recommend Taylor as your trainer, knowing full well that if people come to know how stellar of a person she is, she will be so fully booked that I will never be able to schedule another session with her.
