Taylor is a certified personal trainer from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), trained martial artist, performer, choreographer, and team leader. She graduated from the University of Washington with her bachelor's degree in dance.
Taylor's area of expertise include strength training, flexibility training, Pilates, weight loss, dance conditioning, power training, and high intensity interval training (HIIT). She has coached at Academy Athletics, The Four Seasons Hotel, has been a featured trainer on 30/10 Weight Loss’s Apex program, and is a managing choreographer for The Bellevue Collection’s annual holiday parade Snowflake Lane.
For the past 10 years, she has devoted herself to studying the science of movement and nutrition. Taylor works with clients of all ages and prefers to use movement as means of keeping the body healthy and injury-free throughout life. She believes in promoting longevity via a long-term relationship with fitness.
Our yoga instructor, Sophie, specializes in Vinyasa yoga, but has experience teaching mindful movement and strength-based classes as well. Sophie's approach to teaching yoga is individual and inclusive. She aims to provide access to yoga for all bodies and cater to all experience levels while prioritizing safety and proper alignment.
Her training emphasized the history of yoga, including how the practice has been commercialized and appropriated over time. Sophie practices with respect and awareness of yoga’s cultural and historical roots.
