- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Tax is not included in my hourly rate. Other potential costs are for any products acquired and used for a project are an additional cost as well as removal of unwanted items. If you are able to share your ideal budget and level of flexibility in budget with me, I can outline a plan suggesting the way we can utilize our time most efficiently.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to follow their lead but its typically best to first understand what their budget and priorities are for a project and then agree on a game plan that has a degree of flexibility to it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My passion for this work started several years ago when my grandma passed away and our family needed support in handling her estate. I was able to fill a gap in assessing all her items and taking inventory to ensure that all her beneficiaries were informed and able to participate from across the country and it was very rewarding to be trusted in such a delicate process and provide an extra set of hands where it was most needed. In more recent years, needs have come up to tackle hoarder-like houses to reset them to become enjoyable living spaces again and I realized I had a knack for being able to do the things that most people hate or dread doing and I could use this strength to have a positive impact on others.
