I highly recommend Maddie Nielsen for makeup! I could NOT be more happy with my wedding glam experience and I will be forever grateful to Maddie for that. I was familiar with her work (proven to be one of the very best artists in Seattle!) but also knew she had an amazing energy, which was equally as important to me. On my wedding day, I felt confident and beautiful, like myself, but an elevated bridal version which is exactly what I dreamed of. I also went into the day with no hesitation because I knew Maddie would deliver- I knew this because she demonstrated her expertise in her craft from every communication touchpoint and especially from our trial. From day of timeline coordination, to pseudo bridal stylist (so happy with the hairstyle she and my hairstylist suggested!) to recommending additional vendor support, she wore more hats than just makeup artist which showed her dedication to making it an amazing experience for me. I also really appreciated her honest opinion about what would look good and also that she was not willing to sacrifice her output to crank out a full bridal party.. which is why she herself brought an assistant to help make sure my girls were ready on time and feeling just as beautiful as I was! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, I will never forget how amazing I felt on my special day! .. and if you read this far, don’t walk, RUN, and book Maddie! You won’t regret it :)

Madeline has been doing my makeup for years maybe 10 plus, her ability to make sure me as a black women am always walking out that chair without feeling like I gotta go fix whatever the MUA didn’t do right amazes me every time! She’s punctual and will bring your vision to life.

Madeline is a true professional artist - she is fast with booking, always willing to accommodate her clients (commuting, early/late hours, punctuality) and stays up to date on products and trends! Her glam is a work of art, yet she stays true to the canvas she is working on. She also zooms out from the face she is working on to help determine if the glam will work well with the outfit, hair, and “event scene” which is really helpful to those who might need guidance on what looks best. 10/10 ⭐️

I am also in the beauty industry; many of my clients have hired her and they absolutely love the way she makes them look and feel. Maddie provided make-up for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mother. I couldn’t have been happier with the results, and I know everyone else was equally satisfied. She was on time and did an amazing job managing getting 9 people done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend her – she’s worth every penny.
