FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Thumbtack asks for a "base price" for different events, but my fees are usually formed around an hourly basis. Also, I provide a 10% discount to all first-time clients as an incentive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When you book me for your event it will be perfectly natural for you to make sure I fit your needs in every way possible, so below we have outlined what you can expect from EVERY performance I give: 1. ABSOLUTE PROFESSIONALISM - It doesn't matter if you've booked me for a corporate gathering or a bachelor party; I am adamant about staying as professional as possible in every situation. No lewd jokes or creepy stares here - just a cool guy trying to show you and your friends a good time! 2. INCREDIBLE MAGIC - Nothing I perform for the people at your event will ever be described afterwards as "hokey" or "cheap". Each and every piece of magic in my repertoire has been worked hundreds of times for real people, so you can bet your bottom dollar that anyone who steps in the path of my prestidigitation will have their mind blown for a good long while. 3. NO MIDDLE-MEN - There is no part of the booking process that involves somebody speaking for me. Every call and email will be answered by me personally. As a matter of fact, upon receiving the necessary deposit a phone call between the two of us will be scheduled, whereupon you and I will discuss important details of the event and the people attending in order for me to hand-select the material that will be performed. Great magic needs a personal connection, NOT an automated voice. 4. LASTING MEMORIES - I truly believe that magic is the gift of a moment, and will do everything in my power to give you and the people attending your event some of the best they've ever had. 5. REASONABLE RATES - I understand that times have been hard on everybody lately and am open to negotiating my fee if needed. This being said, please remember that I am still a professional and charge my clients based on the quality of my service.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been involved in the community for twenty years, studying voraciously and involving myself with various festivals and events. I also give professional lectures across the country, performing and teaching pieces of magic that I have created, including some of those published in one of my seven books. I have been mentored by some of the top magicians in the world and consider every day to be another learning experience.
