Melanie is an expert architectural advisor and designer for your project! Melanie is a licensed architect and highly experienced designer. She only works with contractors and construction craftsmen who are passionate about their work. She works with only a select few clients at a time, including residential, restaurant, and retail projects. Commercial clients have the extra benefit of working with Melanie to create a successful brick and mortar plan as well. If you work with her, she will create scope documents that capture use of sustainable materials, architectural systems, and design documents for budget pricing that helps you make cost/benefit decisions. If needed, Melanie will work with a freelance CAD drafter and permit intake professional to prepare drawings for construction and/or permit. Melanie founded and ran a large firm - Dynamikspace for over 20 years. Before that, she led and appraised appraisal and development feasability projects. She decided to start her small consulting business - Mixtup Studio - where she could solely focus on small boutique projects. Because of Melanie's extensive knowledge and ability to provide actionable information at the onset, the initial 30-minute consult conference call is $125 (a link to pay and schedule for call will be sent to you).
