Marc Blackwell, This Life!

Introduction: Marc Blackwell is an American Designer, who has been recognized for his clean aesthetic and problem-solving abilities. His award-winning home designs span many categories, including tabletop, furniture, lighting, and soft goods. His firm, Marc Blackwell, This Life! Designs and builds residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, many of which have been featured in national and international publications. Marc is a problem solver and a self-proclaimed workhorse. He is committed to always creating the best of beautifully designed non-pretentious living. He loves to celebrate artists and art and works to integrate each in all of his projects. Marc began his career as a teacher of gymnastics and exercise, and after that, dove into the restaurant business. This was when he decided lifestyle around dining, entertaining, and gracious living was what he enjoyed most. Creating visual Experiences for others would be his life focus for the next thirty years. Marc loves to travel, laugh, entertain, enjoy, and share life. He currently lives with his husband, Eric in Seattle and New York. Marc is also involved with many philanthropic organizations and sits on the board of DIFFA, Design Industries Foundation Fighting Aids.
