I’m a great collaborator who works to help my client find her/his style voice. The outcome is a space that feels designed and reflects the character of the client. While I have a high taste level, buying from the retail market keeps costs lower, taking advantage of the many custom options available. I look high and low for the perfect sofa, fabric, table, lighting, tile, etc. to get it right. I can work with your contractor or supply one, or hire tradesmen as needed. Or if you just need paint selection, space planning, or furniture, I’m happy to create a plan or pull it together. Heidi was a godsend to us. She provided exactly what we needed and more. Personable, a high level of taste and more than willing to do whatever needed to be done. Her fees were also very reasonable and transparent. I have been through this process many times with other interior designers, and Heidi is money very well spent. Even my husband agreed and that’s rare! Without fail, I received a response to a request or question within a day. She set up easy to use boards with options for every item and ‘look’ for us to choose from, so I had a great idea as to what the final outcome would be. Heidi not only helped us with furniture and window coverings, she also oversaw the addition of a fireplace that was not easy! The outcome was gorgeous! I cannot say enough about how happy we were to team with Heidi. I say ‘team’ but really, she did ALL the work. I feel very great about recommending her services to others.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Heidi. My husband and I had always dreamed of having a designer and Heidi made this experience great, I know we will use her again! Here are all the reasons why: first, she was very professional and focused on our vision. She helped us to further develop the vision by sending us picture boards of different pieces of furniture and rooms to help her get the look we were after. Next, she helped us to establish a budget and throughout the project, she referenced the budget and helped us to stick with it. Finally, she had so much experience that she was able to recommend pieces from different stores, help us to capture the sales and really get the best possible pieces within the budget. We are convinced that Heidi was well worth our investment and we are so pleased with the final product!

I recently hired Heidi to furnish and decorate a house that had belonged to my parents, it was in need of an upgrade and modernization. I also wanted it to feel like me, to be comfortable as a home and an office. The wall colors are calming and neutral and complement the comfortable furniture. Throughout the entire process, Heidi was professional and knowledgeable. She was always available to answer any questions I had and made sure to keep me informed every step of the way. It was a great experience to work with Heidi; she helped my family pick out the pieces and colors for our kitchen and living room. It’s our first time renovating and working with a designer and Heidi was very friendly, patient, creative, and had many great ideas that we will definitely be incorporating into our home. The fee is by the hour or a flat fee determined by the number of rooms and amount of work to be completed.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initially we discuss goals and budget, your preferred style and taste (which I can help define) by telephone. In home consultation: We look at the spaces, discuss furniture placements, cosmetic renovation if needed, choose paint colors. I build a board for you on Pinterest which includes inspiration and product with as many options as possible for what you have requested. We talk about the options and what you like. From there I build documents for your approval. I can hire contractors or use your team if you like. ❤️
