The Thumbtack platform is so vaguely based in their qualifying criteria we get referrals which have nothing to do with our preferences, but we have to pay them anyway. This happens to many contractors and is why Thumbtack is a billion-dollar company, with the owners hidden, while the "Pros" pay the bill. Like how boiler rooms operate. And good luck finding a human to help you. Does. Not. Exist.

Why do we stay on the platform then? Because there may be those of you who legitimately need our expertise and experience and we want to be available for you.
We offer Home Theater installation services, Network Infrastructure and Cabling, Commercial Audio/Video systems and more. This is for the complete system only however, so we can guarantee the performance and longevity.
1. CUSTOMER OWNED EQUIPMENT; We no longer install Customer Owned equipment.
We cannot guarantee the system performance and our name is on it.
There is also a risk this equipment will not work to your satisfaction, and in your application, if it is purchased under someone else's recommendation.
We design and integrate systems that work, and work well, and for years to come and we have the expertise and experience to exceed your expectations.
Equipment purchased through us offers you a much more cost-effective high value system as we can discount accordingly when you purchase a package.
Translation; It is not only a higher performance system, Guaranteed, when we can design and integrate equipment that works, and the overall investment is often much lower than if you purchase equipment individually and had an installation company install it for you.
As well, equipment purchased through us carries not only the manufacturer warranty, but we will add a 30-day full replacement warranty for any manufacturer defects at no charge to you for parts or labor.
2. NETWORK WIRING; The only Network wiring installation we facilitate is new infrastructure cabling, both Fiber Optic and Copper in Commercial locations and for Residential locations for only New Construction Pre-Wiring.
3. NETWORK EQUIPMENT; The only Network equipment installation such as Access Points, Switches, Breakout panels, etc., we provide is for Commercial locations or homes we have prewired.
4. LABOR RATES: Our labor rates are based at $85 an hour for most Consumer Electronics installations and $125 an hour for Network Fiber Optic/Copper wiring & Systems Programming.
5. EQUIPMENT REPAIR; We do not offer equipment repair for your purchased equipment. This is new Home Theater Installation category only.
We have to state these things emphatically because Thumbtack has the worst referral service algorithm on the face of the earth and is borderline criminal as we have told them to change their qualifying questions again and again and again, to deaf ears. They make more money if the questions are vague and not specific. We are charged upwards of $40 when a prospective client "direct leads" us, or any contractor. We do NOT get refunds even if it is not even close to our clearly stated job description, we get a CREDIT towards another lead which has nothing to do with what we do.
We are very highly rated with decades of professional experience and with formal training in each field. We will likely not be on this site much longer to serve legitimate clients however as we are losing patience in this 9th grader designed algorithm.
We are also fully Licensed, Bonded and Insured with a stellar track record of literally thousands of installations.
