FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I get paid in cash and charge $60 for an hour lesson given each week ONLINE USING ZOOM.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
They call me and then we find out a good day and time for them to JOIN ME ON ZOOM for an hour. I let them know that they will need a 3-ring notebook binder with divider tabs to separate subject matter. They may need advice on purchasing an instrument so I am able to help them with most of these beginner's questions on how to start. Additional purchases may be a metronome or a tuner for tuning guitars and bass. Keyboards should have weighted keys to build strength in the fingers and hands. I like to help them feel comfortable about all these beginning steps.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a music degree but more importantly, I have studied with some of the greatest teachers in the Seattle area. I continue to study because music is a subject that can never be limited and is ever expanding. I also have much to share regarding recording engineering, touring, and performance.
