Katherine Audas

A bit about me: I began playing the cello at the age of 4, and I have been passionate about performing and music ever since. I have studied at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music, earned an Undergraduate Degree in Cello Performance, a Master's Degree in Cello Performance and an Artist Diploma in Cello Performance. I have been teaching for over decade. The Lessons: If you are looking to have fun, learn about music and improve your skills on the cello, even if you have never held a cello before, I would love to work with you! Together, we will help you discover your love for cello and classical music. I work with students of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced performers. My approach is different for every student, because everyone learns in a unique way. At each lesson we will focus on the proper techniques you need to succeed with an emphasis on musicality and creativity. I also provide detailed practice plans following the lesson via email and help you structure your time so that you get the most out of every minute. I teach online and in person.
