I had arranged a visit with Marcel to get an estimate on cleaning a large room’s carpet because of past pet accidents. He arrived exactly at the time we set up. He looked at the room and then two staircases that my wife wanted cleaned. He noticed other rooms with carpet and offered a reasonable price to do everything. I accepted and said that I would remove as many items in the rooms over the weekend as I could. He responded that he and his helper could take care of that and that they could begin immediately. “Right now?” I asked. “Yes,” he said. They had their equipment ready, with detergent and other supplies. I had expected a visit for an estimate only. I agreed and Marcel and his assistant cleaned the carpet in three bedrooms, two carpeted staircases and our large family room in barely 1-1/2 hours. Furniture had been moved and replaced, miscellaneous items carefully stacked and the carpets were spotless. The house smelled fresh and clean. This was probably one of the best service company experiences I’ve had. Marcel is very polite and friendly and everything was done quickly and professionally. For any other area rugs or carpets, Emerald City Carpet Cleaning is at the top of my list.
