Professionally trained Carpenter (Residential Remodel Program @ Seattle Central Wood Technology Center). My goal is to provide a high quality of work for a fair price so that people wouldn't hesitate to call me a second time, or refer me to their friends. In fact the majority of my business is from repeat customers and referrals. I have 8 years of experience in flooring, framing, decks, woodworking, doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, concrete, trim, and more. I can confidently say that if you hire me you will not get any sub par work!

Chris did an amazing job installing a new back door on my funky 100 year old house. No job here is straight forward and Chris figured out a couple solutions on the spot and made it happen. He’s also really nice.

I came to Chris with an atypical job and he helped me get to some beautiful results. I had a remodel gone wrong (by me) I was feeling like there was no clear path forward—after a couple minutes with Chris we had a clear plan and he made everything slick and easy. Our laundry room cabinets and countertops are lightyears better than they were before we hired Chris and he even gave us some extra help and advice with adjacent project pieces. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to price things at a fair price. I'm not trying to get rich and I don't need to be the cheapest since I get so many referrals and repeat customers because I'm reliable and do good work at a fair price. I guess I feel like I hit that sweet spot between quality work and a fair price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First of all I want to make sure the job is one I can do well. If I don't believe I can I won't take it. Then I like to meet with the customer, and formulate a plan for their specific situation. then provide a quote and get to work!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I completed the residential remodel program at Seattle Central College's Wood Technology Center. Afterwords I apprenticed under skilled craftsman until I became a journeyman. 8 years in and I'm still learning new things all of the time.
