I'm a certified yoga instructor from the birthplace of yoga, Rishikesh, India. With over 20 years of dedicated practice, yoga is a way of life for me. I believe in the holistic power of yoga, transcending the boundaries of body and mind.
In my classes, we delve into the essence of yoga, embracing all its facets- from dynamic asanas to the calming practices of pranayama and meditation.

Highlands yoga sessions offer a relaxing and energizing experience. The meditation at the end of each session creates a sense of profound calm and focus. The instructor provides valuable guidance on adjusting poses to accommodate any injuries or weaknesses, which I find extremely beneficial. I would definitely recommend these classes!

***Life-Changing Experience at Highlands Yoga with Ramya***
Working with Ramya at Highlands Yoga has been a phenomenal experience for me, an obese and sedentary beginner. In just a few weeks, I’ve noticed real improvements—walking up stairs without struggle, touching my toes, and climbing hills pain-free. My goal is to become stronger and more flexible before I turn 50 this year, and Ramya has made me believe it’s possible.
She has a gift for knowing when to push me and always celebrates my wins, creating an experience that’s both challenging and uplifting. While I’m not spiritual, I can feel Ramya's deep connection to Hinduism, which adds an incredible depth to our sessions. I leave every session feeling rested and completely in tune with my body—like I’m floating in the best way possible.
I highly recommend Ramya for anyone starting or deepening their yoga practice.

I’ve attended Ramya’s Virtual 1:1 Yoga session and it was perfectly curated for my goals and every pose was well-articulated, which I believe is really important so you can continue with the flow without having to look at screen.
I really appreciate Ramya’s inputs in correcting postures and explaining benefits of each asana.
I had great experience with Highlands Yoga and would highly recommened it to anyone looking for Yoga classes.
