FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am an affordable florist who loves to embellish beyond stem counting.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With a new customer I would first get all the information they have to offer me. I then take the time to do the research of various flowers that are in season in their color palette. I also research different bouquet styles to see what might appeal to them. Once I have done my research I will sit down with the bride and will show her the options in bouquet styles if she doesn't already know. I will then go through the various options of flowers available for that time of the year. It is here where I am able to get a sense for what the bride is looking for and I am able to create her vision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been designing for the past 20 years. I learned through a book used in floral design school. In 2016 I decided to get my floral certificate. Others have asked me why I would bother spending time and money since I know how design. My response is that there is always room to improve. I love learning new techniques! I also have a Bachelors in Graphic design and surprisingly there is some overlap in the design concepts. I enjoy designing bridal invitations when I get the chance.
