Wiley could be a great contractor but he’s not ready. Wiley did a great job removing a bedroom closet. Made an entrance for a walk in closet from family room to bedroom great!! But sealing up the other entrance from the family room. I can still see imprints from where the door used to be. Had him do laminate wood flooring. He did a great job except a few blemishes and demanding money before the job was complete. I have attached pictures of what he thought was a finished job. He did fix the transition strips but not all work is up to par. Wiley overcharged me by 120 square feet at $4 per square foot. I only realized when there was 10.5 boxes of flooring left after the project was completed. I went to my architectural blueprint I had drawn up of the house to realize the mistake. When I told him, he said you signed a contract. You want to trust your contractor, he’s not the one!! I agreed to pay him to caulk around the floor trimming for $200 he demanded $250 and I have proof in text messaging with him. Then he was to build a closet in another bedroom. He gave me a price then added money onto it before sending the bid. I paid the deposit of 50% but before he could start he got upset because I told him the actual square footage of flooring done and now he refuses to do the work or even return my deposit for work he hasn’t done. I truly probably would have overlooked the overcharge on flooring but the way he tries to nickel and dime you on sub par work needed to be addressed. When doing my floors he left a tremendous mess cutting materials he didn’t even try clean up in my front yard and rocks and throughout the house. Lastly he put up a wall in my pantry where he should have used thinner Sheetrock to make it flush. In trying to save his cost I attached picture of what he thought was acceptable. Just not a good person nor contractor. Not recommended!! I will be taking him to court.
