FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once customer signs the estimate that is the price they pay unless scope of work changes at which point we will update estimate before continuing work. Most of our projects are unit pricing (Square feet or linear feet). Price is usually a little less in the winter months (Dec-Feb)
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Phone conversations to see what they are looking for and determine whether we are a good fit or not. Set up a time to take a look at the project to take measurements and go over any ideas and details. Put together and estimate and give it to the customer. Go over estimate details and adjust if needed to fit customer specifications. If customer wants to move forward with the project we have them sign the estimate and put down a deposit for materials and put them on our schedule. Once project is completed we go over everything and make sure the customer is satisfied then invoice the remaining balance.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Between the partners we carry a civil engineering degree, certification in low impact development design, Certified Erosion Control and Sediment Lead, storm water and drainage training, landscape architecture college course work among other relevant training to ensure your project is done professionally following all legal requirements.
