- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First contact is usually over the phone or an email. After that, we usually set up a mutually convenient time to meet. Since I work out of my house all my appointments are either at the client's home/business, a location of their liking, or we complete the work via the internet, fax, or by mail. Whichever the case, my goal is to get the work completed in a timely manner with the least amount of inconvenience for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have an Associate of Arts degree in business (Accounting) from North Seattle Community College. I studied for three years at Western Washington University. My main areas of study were Accounting (Income Tax), Finance, Computer Science and History. I'm registered with the IRS on their Annual Filing Season Program (AFSP). I complete 18 hours of continuing education each and take a refresher test (100 questions) each year to keep my AFSP designation. My Preparer Tax identification Number is P01294359. I'm also an Electronic Return Originator with the IRS. This allows me to file your returns electronically.
