Great movers. We worked with PLR movers for when we moved to Seattle as well as having John and his team move our items into our new house. The team is punctual and will accommodate anything you ask of them. Very professional, fair, and reliable. Overall, we would definitely work with PLR Movers again.

John and his team were wonderful! They did such a great job. And we had a lot of stuff! I don't know how they did it so quickly, moving our heavy boxes up and down all 3 flights of stairs in our vertical townhouse but they did! And with zero damage too which was critical. They even uncrated our large rug (at no additional cost!) and setup our bedframe for us (so nice to not have to deal with that after a long cross country move). Plus they were fun and had great attitudes the whole time, it was clear they love what they do and aim to please. We plan to use John and team when we move out of this temporary rental in 14 months and into our purchased home. The quote he gave was very reasonable and they made everything so easy for us. Even moved everything out of one office and into another, across 2 flights of stairs, after we changed our mind about a lot of boxes. 10/10 would recommend again

Nothing but great things to say about John and Andrew. They made a local move that would have taken me about 12 hours (and I'd have probably lost some friends in the process) take half that. They were friendly, professional, and punctual (they arrived about 15 minutes ahead of our arranged time). They were great at entertaining my 7 year old son as they worked. Definitely trustworthy guys, they treated my property respectfully and had all the equipment to do the move effectively and efficiently. I won't hesitate to recommend PLR to my friends and will use them again if needed.

So this review is monthsssssss overdue, but now that I'm back om land I had to write one for these guys. This was my first time using movers through Thumbtack, and I was already stressing because I had gotten last minute orders to deploy. I had super short notice on when my fly out date would be and I was scrambling trying to arrange movers to put my stuff in storage, packing what I was gonna take with me, arranging apartment cleaning and selling my car. These guys completely took that packing and putting on storage stress off my shoulders. They were super quick, friendly and efficient. All I did was put the things I was gonna take with me in a corner and these guys too care of the rest. They disassembled my furniture items, wrapped them all up, boxed up all my clothes, kitchen stuff etc. Sealed everything tight so it wouldn't get messed up during the winter since I had an outside storage unit. Btw is was also snowing during during time this happened and these guys still showed up on time and put in work. My car got stuck in the snow a few times while I showed them which storage unit was mine and they were so kind to help me out both times lol. Payment process was upfront and easy. Communication is A1, and as I mentioned before they are so friendly, accommodating, and hard working. Now that I'm coming back to the states. I will 100% be messaging them to move me back in. Oh I almost forgot to mention that they also detrashed my apartment and cleaned up any mess thay was made from packing process.

PLR Movers made my move so painless and they were very efficient, professional and excellent at what they do! If you need your move completed the correct way and in a timely, professional manner, please use this moving company because they went well above the standard! These Gentlemen are number 1 and are the Gold standard of how moving should be done! I would give 10 stars if I could but definately move them to the top!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is set at 100 an hour for two movers. I can give flat rates for smaller jobs.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, I explain to the customer how I price the job. after we have come to an agreement we set a date and time for the move. I will then ask the customer what their needs are when it comes to packing material such as boxes. I will get an idea of what I need for the job to make sure that we are prepared. After I have confirmed with the customer the date,time,pricing, and packing/equipment needs I will then take down their phone number as well as the address where the move will begin. It is at this point where the customer will be scheduled for the date given and the reservation will be complete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been in the moving industry since 2014. My experience comes from many years of hard work and dedication to giving the best service I can to every one of my customers.
