FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
When starting a new construction project, you can have 2 of 3 things. It can be fast, cheap or done well! We pride ourselves on our quality and speed and do our best to accommodate your budget range. With that being said, sometimes we are not in your budget and that is okay! Just remember that your new flooring should last you years, don't overspend by hiring cheap contractors twice! Once today and another to fix the job!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'd like to get a feel for what you would like. We typically start with an introductory call where we learn about your flooring needs including square footage, desires for surrounding baseboards, material we are removing, material we are installing, staircase needs, disposal services, and the applicable chargers. Once discussed, we send out a "rough estimate" detailing the cost of the project so you go in with your eyes open. If the rough estimate is within range, we schedule an on-site estimate to finalize the square footage, answer any questions and set a date for the transformation to begin.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had the pleasure to apprentice under my father who worked with wood for over 25 years. Under his guidance, I apprenticed for many years, learning the trade of wood door making, installation, installation of flooring, staircase work, baseboards work, etc. This is the fruit of our labor of love. Since then I have been primarily focused on flooring installation for the past few years, including stair work, baseboard installation, and house transformations!
