- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It's important that clients tell me their specific needs, to make sure I am able to meet them. We must discuss the length of time needed for pet sitting, drop off ad pick up dates and times. Once a customer accepts me as their pet sitter. I require a meet and greet at no charge. It is important to ensure your pets and you are comfortable with me and other animals I may currently be sitting. I require my clients to fill out a Pet Information Form that lists important emergency contacts, special needs and character traits as well as a small one page contract, stating that I have authority to have temporary possession of your pet(s), have permission to enter your home (if applicable) and permission to take your pet to a vet. I will always call you for permission before taking your pet to a Veterinary or Emergency Room.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years’ experience with all types if pets, from cows and horses to birds, cats, dogs, rabbits, goats, chickens, lamas, lizards, hedgehogs, fish and more. I can't sit a animal that needs to be feed a live animal. It's to hard for me to see another animal die. I love snakes too, but I cannot feed live animals. ☹
