Unfortunately I ended up paying $200 for initial tools that he needed to complete the job before hiring him and ended up with nothing done except monetary loss after hiring. It was highly unprofessional that after being hired and getting tools on my money, he told that he may not be able to complete the task due to his lack of subject knowledge. However I appreciate his honesty but I was left feeling cheated knowing that I already hired him and paid for his tools, but him not returning the paid amount and considering it as his service call charge seems a bit odd especially after agreeing for the project and cancelling it due to his incompetence. I got the lights installed very next day with another professional found on thumbtack. I am mentioning this as it was very much doable project for knowledgeable technicians. I think people should be wary of this professional before hiring. Had he been honest from the start, then I could have saved some of my hard earned bucks.
