This review took me a while to write but Tony was one of the best contractors we had the pleasure of working with. We purchased a house 1.5 years ago that hadn’t been updated since it was built in the 1930s. Tony upgraded all of our plumbing to copper and installed a new gas line for the dryer, to include a seismic shut off valve. He was extremely knowledgeable as my partner and I had no experience remodeling. The job was permitted and we passed all the plumbing inspections with commentary from the inspector on the quality of work Tony provided. Tony was one of the most reasonably priced estimates we received which was a huge deciding factor for us as we had a lot of work to do in the house. He was responsive, always the first to come onsite, and finished the job on time and in budget. We have been living in the house for over a year now and have had no plumbing issues. Hire Tony, you won’t be sorry.

Tony from Bay Star Plumbing was great, honest and did a wonderful job! My project was to replace two water heaters that are connected together in a 4plex building. Scheduling with Tony was a breeze. When the tanks delivery by home depot was delayed Tony notified me immediately and we rescheduled to the next day. Tony arrived on time to the location (actually early), and got right to work. Immediately saw that the tanks were damaged during delivery and suggested to replace them at the local home depot right away (no need to reschedule). Great! The old water heaters didn't have expansion tanks, I wasn't sure if I need them but I asked to install two. Tony told me that since the tanks are connected I only need one, and that my system didn't actually required expansion tank. That was honest thanks! At the bill Tony reduced the bill for the extra expansion tank and for the cheaper price he got for the water heaters. Thanks you! Overall, If you are looking for professional honest plumber, I recommend By Star Plumbing.

I called Tony to install gas lines to a new fireplace insert and range in my home and was very impressed with a number of things: - He was available sooner than most other companies I called (some had waiting lists that were months out and he was able to schedule within a month of my call); - He kept to within his initial proposed budget; - He looked for ways to keep the cost down and provided detailed receipts; - When the building department and inspector requested additional items not planned for, he arranged his schedule to return the next day to avoid any delay (and passed the inspection); - His rates were much lower than the average plumber (maybe because it's a small company and he doesn't have much overhead); - He sent the invoice paperwork promptly for my records; - Most importantly, he did a great job and is a super-nice guy - very pleasant and easy to work with! I will definitely call Tony again for future plumbing work - I couldn't ask for a better plumber and highly recommend him!
